They often rely solely upon a Mortgage Valuation Report believing that
it is a survey. This regrettably is not the case. The mortgage valuation
is most limited in scope and inspection and hence in advice.

* Mortgage Valuation Report
* Building Survey

The cost varies considerably between surveys with the Building Survey
being the most expensive and comprehensive.
Homebuyer's Survey and Valuation
The Homebuyer’s Survey and Valuation is intended to be an economic
service, carried out by your choice of Chartered Surveyor. He will provide
you with a concise report concentrating on significant or urgent matters.
It is strongly recommended to house buyers.
