George Palos B.Sc (Eng) ACGI, MRICS, MIET, MCIArb Managing Director George is the Managing Director of Anderson, Wilde & Harris and the City Office Partner for Dilaps UK. George has been a practicing Chartered Surveyor for 23 years, advising on all aspects of residential and commercial property investment, development and management. During his professional life, George has lend expertise to a wide variety of property disputes including professional negligence of surveyors, Construction Disputes, Dilapidations, Boundaries, Party Walls and Rights to Light. He has also given evidence as an expert witness in Arbitration, Expert Determinations, the LVT, the County Court and the High Court. George has an expanding arbitration practice and was appointed to the Panel of Arbitrators of the President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, in 2011. Since 2010 he has also sat as a Trustee of the Students Union at his alma mater, Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. George currently lives in Aldgate with his partner Deborah. In his spare time, he indulges in outdoor pursuits which include scuba diving, skiing, walking and fishing. He also enjoys good food & wine and spending time with his two teenage sons. Recently he has started to play golf and continues supporting Arsenal.
Clive J. Morley FCIOB MRICS MFPWS Director Clive heads the Building Survey, Architectural Services and Project Management departments of Anderson, Wilde & Harris. Clive started off as a contractor's Quantity Surveyor in 1972 and moved onto Contracts Management. He progressed into management in the Design and Build sector before setting up his own private practice. Clive has extensive experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor and advises on all aspects of residential, commercial property and project management. This includes valuation, project management, dilapidations matters, the specification and supervision of works of repair and in particular, advising on cost management throughout the North London area. He has also given evidence as an Expert Witness in Arbitrations, Expert Determinations, the LVT, the County Court and Mediation. Clive is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, as well as the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors. He is also a registered and accredited expert with Sweet and Maxwell. Clive lives in Sutton, Bedfordshire with his partner Amanda who thankfully runs an efficient ship. He enjoys holidaying with Amanda, golf, walking his dogs Rosie and Lulu, gardening, DIY, good wine and food.
Hari Hirani B.Sc (Hons) FRICS IRRV MPVAI Director Hari Hirani heads the Valuations and Professional Services department of the firm. Hari is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Corporate Member of The Institute of Rating Revenues and Valuers. He is also a Member of The Society of Expert Witnesses since 2000, as well as a member of the Practicing Valuers Association (India) since 2007. Hari has been a practicing surveyor for over 37 years and has a wide range of experience in Residential and Commercial Valuations, Building Surveys, Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals and Landlord & Tenant Litigation, to name a few. He regularly gives evidence in Courts, Tribunals and Committees. He also acts as a Valuation Dispute Expert (many times jointly appointed) and occasionally acts as an Arbitrator. Hari is a Receiver, appointed since 2002 by the High Court London, Chancery Division under the Law of Property Act 1925. Hari currently lives in Kingsbury, London. He is passionate about traveling, having covered more than 35 countries in his trips. He is also an avid follower of cricket.
Jason Kerr B.Sc (Hons), MRICS Director Jason co-heads the Valuation and Professional Services department of Anderson, Wilde & Harris. Jason started off working for various Merchant Banks including Bankers Trust, Swiss Bank Corporation & UBS on Swaps, Equity Derivatives, holding senior positions within the Trading and Project Management teams. He decided to have a career break and traveled most of the world for 9 months before deciding a career change was in order. He became a Chartered Surveyor and joined Anderson, Wilde & Harris where he has been for the past 7 years, contributing significantly to expanding the firm’s practice and building its reputation amongst high profile clients like Barclays Wealth & high net-worth lending institutions. Jason lives in London during most of the week, and in Somerset over the weekend with his wife Nicola and children, William and Elena. He plays squash and enjoys outdoor pursuits such as skiing, sailing, clay pigeon shooting and walks in the countryside. Jason is a Rugby fan and is looking to start fly-fishing lessons soon.
Christopher Shawcross BA DipArb FRICS FCIArb Director Christopher co-heads the Valuation and Professional Services department of Anderson, Wilde & Harris. After graduating from Durham University, Christopher started off as an Agricultural and Equestrian Auctioneer’s clerk in Reading, Berkshire. Moving to London shortly (The Grosvenor Estate and Conrad Ritblat), he was engaged in negotiating Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, Surrender & Re-grants and Estate Management issues. These skills were essentially honed at Neale House, a property investment and management company, where he took responsibility for a mixed commercial portfolio of 600 tenants spread throughout the UK. In 2001 he set up Shawcross & Co, a firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Henley-on-Thames and covered all aspects of General Practice surveying activities in the Thames Valley. The firm merged with Anderson Wilde and Harris in 2011. Christopher is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Christopher lives in Henley-on-Thames. He is a qualified National Umpire in the sport of rowing; in his spare time he umpires rowing races and enjoys “messing about on the river”. He is married and has four adult children.
Michael Palos Director Michael is a Director of Anderson, Wilde & Harris and heads the Property Management & Investment department of the firm. After graduating, Michael worked as an Estate Agent, Property Developer and Investor for 6 years. He went on to manage the purchase and running of Scala Apartments, which entailed the supervision of the short-term letting of 34 serviced apartments in a prime Central London location. Since 1996, Michael has been on the Directorial Board of Anderson, Wilde & Harris. Michael currently lives in Winchmore Hill, North London with wife Donna and daughter Chloe. In his spare time, Michael likes to hit the gym; he also enjoys fishing, fine dining & wine and spending time with his daughter. He is also an avid Arsenal supporter.
